Academic Positions
Dr. Cornelia Wallner is Post-doc Researcher in the rank of an Assistant Professor (“Habilitandin”) at the Department of Media and Communication at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich. She gained her PhD at the University of Vienna. Cornelia worked as Research Project Lead in an international Erasmus+ Project at Zeppelin University, where she was also awarded a Post-doc Fellowship at the chair of Prof. Nico Stehr, PhD, FRSC, as Lecturer and Researcher at the Department of Communication at the University of Vienna, and Lecturer at the European Peace University EPU, Austria.
Professional Experience
Cornelia has extensive experience in applied social research from various projects and professional engagements in market research and brand consultancy as well as a freelance consultant. Amongst others, she worked with Sora Institute Vienna, Fraunhofer IAO Stuttgart, Serviceplan Group Munich, and Austrian Airlines.
As a trained journalist (RadioMax), Cornelia also has practical experience in journalism, and as a longtime board member in a childcare facility she has hands-on experience in corporate communications.
